Candle-Making Workshop Sunday July 20 2-4 PM

Learn to make beautiful candles that are safe to use and will burn consistently. Choose from our variety of fragrance oils and make your own container candle to take home while learning about the different kinds of waxes, fragrance oils, wicks, vessels, molds, and techniques. Lean why we prefer soy wax and why we chose fragrance oils over essential oils, and how temperature is crucial to making a nice candle. Learn how to fix a candle that didn't come out the way you wanted, and how to avoid common mistakes. Smell all the smells and meet fellow candle-enthusiasts.

Making the candles will take about an hour, and waiting for them to solidify will take another hour. In that hour you can walk around the shop, get a slice at Sal's Pizza next door, or stick around to make bath salts with us and scent and label your own.

1 7.2 oz candle with your chosen scent and label

1 beverage from our cafe (coffee, tea, or soda)
