Fiona Heeran hails from County Leitrim, Ireland. A self-taught artist and a trained chef, she works in a variety of mediums including acrylic, oil, pencil, and photography, and has a keen interest in storytelling through art. Fiona's work was selected for exhibition via an open call by Andrew Edlin Gallery, where she sold her first painting. She subsequently exhibited in the Andrew Edlin Gallery booth at the Outsider Art Fair and in the Education Center of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), which displayed her piece on social media to promote a digital learning course. Says Fiona of her art process, “My work develops from whatever is happening in my daily life.”
